Historic Macon will salute significant preservation achievements May 27 when it presents its 2021 Preservation Awards. 

The awards will highlight the foundation’s annual meeting. It’s being held at Triangle Arts Macon, 206 Lower Elm St. A reception runs from 5-6 p.m. The business portion of the meeting and presentation of awards begins at 6.

The public also can watch the meeting and presentations on Historic Macon’s Facebook page and its website, and it will be broadcast on WMUB, Cox Communications Channel 112.

Among the awards presented will be those for significant residential and commercial rehabilitation or preservation, as well as awards for lifetime achievement in historic preservation and exceptional contributions to Historic Macon and the community.

May is National Preservation Month, a time when Historic Macon and its community partners celebrate preservation efforts across the community.
