Robins Regional Chamber Emerge Series

During the second program in our Emerge series, the Robins Regional Chamber recognized outstanding organizations in our community and took an opportunity to salute all of our healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers in the Robins Region. The Sherrill Stafford Good Government Award was presented to the Houston County Board of Educationfor their leadership, innovation, and resiliency in 2020. The Chamber awarded two Business Excellence Awards. The first Business Excellence Award was presented to Eyesight Associates for their staying power and investment in the community. SunMark Community Bank also received a Business Excellence Award for outstanding leadership & service to the community.
The Robins Regional Chamber will continue our interviews and award presentations for the next two weeks, each Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. LIVE on Facebook and YouTube. In closing out week two's session, the Chamber also announced the award recipients who will be recognized on next week's program.
The Chamber's Rising Star Awards will be presented to two amazing young, emerging businesses in our chamber membership Mini Dixie Donuts and AF Realty Group. The Chamber will host Ashley James and Amanda Fiebig to talk more in-depth about their successes and struggles in 2020. Griggers Wealth Management was named the 2020 Charles K. and Barbara Shaheen Small Business of the Year, and the Chamber will host Billy Griggers on next week's program to learn about his thriving business and dedication to being a community servant.
THANK YOU to all of you who sent in photos and video messages for our opening salute to our heroes. 2020 opened our hearts to even deeper gratitude, admiration and respect for our everyday heroes in the medical field, public safety, our military and our essential workforce. Our community pride is strong, and we know that together we truly will be stronger longer.
