The Miner Agency announced the newest member of their team this morning. Griffin Hicks will join the agency as the Creative Manager.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the Miner Agency team. I feel that I’m working alongside some of the most talented creators in Central Georgia and I’m eager to contribute my talents to help this business grow,” says Hicks.

In his position, Hicks will be charged with producing creative assets including content, videos, blog posts, and any other creative needs.

Hicks already has a great understanding of Miner Agency clients as he has deep roots in the Middle Georgia area going back four generations. His father is a business owner in Macon, Ga. and his mother, originally from Valdosta, Ga., worked at Robins Air Force Base for ten years. Hicks graduated from First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, Ga. before enrolling at Florida State University (FSU).

At FSU, Hicks majored in Editing, Writing and Media and minored in Film Studies. In that time, he spent a year at FSU’s London Institute.

“My time abroad afforded me many opportunities to travel and explore,” Hicks reminisces. “It was a great learning experience.”

After his freshman year spent abroad, Hicks settled at FSU’s home campus in Tallahassee, Fl. where he became affiliated with multiple student organizations, including FSU’s Film Club and Sigma Pi fraternity. Hicks graduated Cum Laude in 2019 where he then came back to Middle Georgia.

Since graduating, Hicks has written for two publications-- Sound and Soul’ Magazine in Macon, Ga. and the ‘Monroe County Reporter’ newspaper in Forsyth, Ga.

“We are extremely blessed to bring Griffin’s talents to our customers,” said Chrissy Miner, Principal of the Miner Agency.  “He knows this community well and his time spent abroad brings great perspective and value for our clients.”
