Surprise Concert Kicks Off Macon Pops’ 8th Season

Macon Pops’ is excitedly planning a surprise concert for Nov. 15th at 4pm at the Museum of Arts and Sciences’ Amphitheatre. The band will perform popular and favorite songs from the past and present. 

The venue will adhere to covid-19 guidelines, including wearing masks and encouraging social distancing. Although the event will be held outdoors, the pavilion on site will be used in case of rain.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

Macon Pops brings the highest quality production and performance of popular music to a broader audience than found at traditional symphonic concerts. With the energy of a rock concert and the finesse of an orchestra, this concert series blends classical instruments with pop culture music.  Macon Pops showcases an orchestra of accomplished studio and symphonic musicians and encourages an interest in the musical arts for people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
