Today, Public Service Commissioner Jason Shaw announced that he has received the endorsement of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Labor Federation. With these endorsements, Shaw brings together the support of Georgia’s business leaders and craft labor around good, common-sense energy policy.

“In a time of so much polarization, I am proud to earn the support of both Georgia’s leading business organization and craft labor leaders as we continue to strive to advance sound energy policies for Georgians. On the PSC, I have been a consensus builder and have advanced policies that have kept rates low and secured sustainable energy for generations to come. I will continue working with these leaders to ensure that Georgia has a brighter and cleaner future with renewable energy sources, low rates, and by expanding broadband,” said Shaw.

“During his tenure in the Georgia General Assembly, and now at the Public Service Commission, Jason Shaw has consistently supported statewide access to sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy,” said David Raynor, Chief Public Affairs Officer, Georgia Chamber of Commerce. “He gets that critical infrastructure investments are essential to our state’s future. That’s why the Chamber is proud to endorse him as the only candidate in this race focused on keeping Georgia number one for business through reasonable energy policies.”

“The Georgia Labor Federation supports candidates of either party who support our principles of good jobs, fair pay, and smart infrastructure investment. Incumbent Jason Shaw of the Public Service Commission checks all those boxes and has earned Labor’s endorsement,” said Charlie Flemming, GA President AFL-CIO.
