Bibb County School District Honored for Financial Reporting

The Bibb County School District has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association. For the 21st consecutive year, the District’s Finance and Accounting Departments received this honor in recognition of their Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2019.
The award is based on the findings of an impartial panel, which makes its decision based on standards of disclosure and transparency. This is the highest award in the area of governmental financial reporting.
