Michael focuses his legal practice on general litigation matters. Particularly, his legal practice focuses on insurance defense, liability defense, general civil litigation, and commercial litigation. Before attending law school, Michael earned his B.S.A., Agribusiness, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2016. He then earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2019.

While in law school, Michael served as the Vice-Chair of Georgia Law’s Mock Trial Program and regularly represented the school in Mock Trial Competitions. Prior to joining James Bates, Michael served as a summer clerk for the Honorable John J. Ellington.
