Exchange Bank Promotes Casey Washburn Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer

Exchange Bank President and Chief Executive Officer, John C. Childs, Jr., is pleased to announce that Casey Washburn has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Casey will be responsible for oversight and management of all facets of the bank’s lending administrative functions including loan origination, processing and servicing, as well as supervision of all relevant staff.

Casey graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Finance in May of 2000 and is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He began his career with Steve H. Powell & Company in Statesboro, GA as a Financial Institution Specialist performing asset quality reviews for community banks in Georgia and neighboring states. In 2004 he became Partner and Associate Broker of Washburn & Associates, a commercial real estate brokerage firm. He joined Exchange Bank in November of 2008 as the Loan Review and Loan Compliance Officer. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President & Controller in February of 2010 then to Vice President and Controller in June of 2011. In January of 2014, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and then named Head of Operations in January of 2015.

He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Exchange Bank and resides in Gray, GA with his wife Robyn, a first-grade teacher at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, along with their daughter Ella (12) and son Reeves (10).
