Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health Open Intensive Outpatient Program in Warner Robins

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Thursday, January 23rd, 2020

Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health is pleased to announce the opening of an intensive outpatient program in Warner Robins.  Located at 402 Osigian Boulevard, the outpatient program is a resource for patients who need treatment for psychiatric and mental health conditions. The goal of the outpatient program is to bridge the gap between partial hospitalization or traditional therapy. The outpatient program offers a therapy schedule that allows patients the opportunity to return to work.

Dr. Cesar Figueroa, medical director for the Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health, said, “An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a great option for patients who require the structure and stability needed to continue sobriety or establish a foundation in recovery. This clinic is the first of its kind in Houston County and we are honored to be able to provide this service.”

Patients are involved in group therapy sessions with other patients who have similar challenges and backgrounds.  Individual therapy sessions are offered for treatment planning.  The program also holds family days where the patient’s family members are encouraged to participate.

The clinic is now open and currently accepting new patients. A ribbon cutting event with the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce will be held on Tuesday, January 28 from 11:00 a.m. with an Open House from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Anyone interested in finding out more about this program is welcome to attend.   Referrals can be made to Outpatient Programs at (478) 464-8183.
