Historic Macon's Office Furniture Sale Coming Up Saturday

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Tuesday, November 5th, 2019

Historic Macon's Office Furniture Sale is coming early.

The foundation's space in the Roses shopping center on Shurling Drive is closing later this month, so we're having our one-day office sale three months early, on Nov. 9. That means rock-bottom prices on everything from desks and chairs to filing cabinets — and much more.

The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at 662 Shurling Drive.

There is free entry to the sale. Cash, cards and checks are accepted. Free parking is available in the shopping center's parking lot.

Historic Macon volunteers collect, sort and price donations of office equipment as a fundraiser for Historic Macon's mission: revitalizing communities by preserving architecture and sharing history. In 2018, Flea Market events raised more than $43,000 for Historic Macon’s work.

If your office could use a bigger or better desk or you need a bookshelf to expand your home library, Historic Macon’s Office Furniture Sale will have something for you.
