Eggs & Issues: City Of Centerville & Census November 19th

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Wednesday, November 6th, 2019

Join us Tuesday, November 19th in the Cary W. Martin Conference Center at the Houston Health Pavilion for the City of Centerville and The US Census Eggs & Issues Breakfast. Centerville Mayor John Harley and Director of Economic Development Kate Hogan will discuss their recent re-branding effort, mall developments, center park updates and more.

We will also hear from Jessica Walden with the US Census about the local impact and importance of census participation. Jessica is a community partnership specialist for the 2020 Census, charged with education, promotion and the collaboration of local efforts to increase participation in hard to count populations throughout Central Georgia. As a partnership specialist, she is encouraging communities to tell their stories through Census data, so populations are fairly represented in government and Federal funding allocations.
