(Macon, Ga.) The Peyton Anderson Foundation is awarding the winning recipients of the 30-Day Challenge with individual donations of $3,000 to present to local non-profit organizations in a “double check presentation” reception on September 3, 2019, from 4:30-6 p.m.

In celebration of the Foundation’s 30th Anniversary, the Peyton Anderson Foundation issued a summer challenge to be a “good-doer” and perform 30 days of service and community engagement during the month of July. Promoted as the “30 Day Challenge,” participating residents completed official entries, documented 30 days of service and engagement and were entered in a random drawing to receive $3,000 to donate to a local non-profit of their choice.

Although it was originally announced that three winning entries would be drawn, the Foundation was so impressed by the participants’ service and engagement that an additional five winners were drawn.

“The Peyton Anderson Foundation was so inspired by the quality and enthusiasm invested into each 30-Day Challenge entry that we decided to do even more good and donate $25,000 to local non-profit organizations through the Challenge winners,” said Foundation President Karen Lambert.

Eight winners were randomly selected from the completed entries. Each of these winners picked a local non-profit to receive $3,000 from the Peyton Anderson Foundation, on their behalf.

Winners of the 30-Day Challenge and their chosen organizations are:
