Brown Named to Health Science Leadership Board at Georgia College

Jill Brown, Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line at Coliseum Medical Centers, has been named to the Leadership Board of the College of Health Sciences at Georgia College. The College of Health Sciences at Georgia College provides both undergraduate and graduate programs in disciplines that emphasize health education, maintenance and restoration. Students in the College of Health Sciences study areas like human performance, music therapy, specialized nursing, and other aspects of health and wellness.

In her current role, Brown has responsibility for all heart-related services, such as heart catheterization, electrophysiology, the STEMI program, and EKG services.  She received her BSN in Nursing from Jacksonville University. She is a Certified Trauma Registered Nurse who recently completed a Level 2 designation at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville Florida in the role of Trauma Director. She is a former Executive Board member of Crisis Line and Safe House of Central Georgia. She currently lives in Forsyth with her husband, Chris, and they have two children. In her spare time, Brown enjoys cycling, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
