Georgia Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Breaks Ground on New Location

Board-certified plastic surgeon Joshua R. Groves, MD, recently broke ground on the new location of his practice, the Georgia Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at 6326 Peake Road in Macon, GA.
 
“We are very excited to announce our new building,” says Dr. Groves. “A lot of thought and prayer was put into this project and my family and I are excited to see it finally come to fruition. We will continue to offer comprehensive plastic surgical procedures, but will now be able to offer a state-of-the-art, certified surgical suite for those requiring additional comfort. We look forward to serving the Middle Georgia area for years to come.”
 
A Thomasville native, Dr. Groves attended Berry College in Rome, GA where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA, and completed his internship and residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Navicent Health. He completed his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. Dr. Groves is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been practicing in Macon since 2009.
 
Design and construction management services for the facility will be performed by Hunter Group Architects of Atlanta and Sheridan Construction of Macon.
