Community Foundation of Fort Valley Fund Now Accepting Grant Applications for 2019

The Community Foundation of Fort Valley Fund (CFFVF) is now accepting grant applications from non-profit organizations working to meet the needs and improve the lives of the citizens of Fort Valley and the immediate surrounding area. Applications are due by Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Noon and can be submitted online at https://cfcga.org/grant/cffv-community-grant-program.   

The CFFVF will consider applications from nonprofits, higher education institutions and faith-based organizations only for non-sectarian, community outreach programs.  Only one proposal from any one nonprofit during a twelve-month period will be considered. The average grant amount is $2,500.

Online applications that are incomplete or not received by the deadline date will not be accepted. Recipients will receive a letter of notification of the Board’s decision, typically within three months of the application deadline.  If you have any questions about the Grant Process or need technical assistance, please call the Foundation's office at (478) 750-9338 or email [email protected].

Last year, the Community Foundation of Fort Valley Fund awarded grants to the following organizations: $3,250 to Feed Center Outreach Ministry for General Operating Support; $2,500 to Fort Valley United Methodist Church for the Mighty Meal Ministry; $3,250 to Peach County Board of Education for the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) program; $3,250 to Reach Georgia for the Mentorship and Scholarship Program; and $3,250 to Southern Valley Ranch and Rescue for Hay Building.
