Coliseum Northside Hospital has been named a five-star hospital by the Hospital Quality Initiative of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Only five hospitals in the State of Georgia were awarded five out of five stars. The Hospital Quality Initiative is intended to empower consumers with quality of care information to make more informed healthcare decisions and to encourage physicians and hospitals to improve the quality of healthcare.

Dr. Shalabh “Mickey” Bansal, Assistant Chief Medical Officer of Coliseum Health System, said, “I am extremely proud of the physicians and staff at Coliseum Northside Hospital for their dedication to the health and safety of our patients.  This is demonstrated by our five out of five outcome on the Hospital Quality Initiative.”
