The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center will hold a semi-annual “Last Roll Call Ceremony of Remembrance” tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the facility’s chapel.

Veterans who have recently passed away here will have their names read aloud in front of family, friends and staff. This event is just one way, the family and friends can honor their names, their lives and their service to America.

“We remember and honor all our Veterans who pass away here at Carl Vinson VA Medical Center,” said Rodney Lindsay, chief of chaplains. “We have 20 Veterans who passed away within the past 6 months.

Chaplain service’s mission is to nurture the living, care for the wounded and honor the fallen. Therefore, we are humbled and honored to host the Last Roll Call Ceremony of Remembrance Service for numerous Next-of-Kin, family members and staff personnel who cared for our Nation’s heroes.”
