The graduation speaker is Dr. Melinda Moffett.
    
A native of Lizella, Georgia, Dr. Melinda Robinson-Moffett believes in sharing knowledge, developing the highest ability of others, and leading by example. With more than two decades of experience in higher education, she is proud to have served as director, advisor, counselor, instructor, or facilitator to numerous initiatives.

Dr. Moffett has overseen professional development at Middle Georgia State University for three years. In this capacity, she delivers comprehensive, executive-level career training for more than 7,000 students and over 30,000 alumni on five campuses across Middle Georgia. Dr. Moffett is recognized by Middle Georgia State University as the 2016 Distinguished Leader in Student Affairs, by Macon Magazine as a 2016 ‘Top 5 under 40’ Leaders in Macon-Bibb, and most recently by Leadership Georgia as one of 60 distinguished leaders from across the state as an inductee into the Class of 2018.
