Nightly I-75 Lane Closures as Crews Finish Resurfacing Project

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Wednesday, November 28th, 2018

The Georgia DOT is advising motorists in Peach, Bibb and Crawford Counties that crews will be closing two lanes of traffic on I-75 nightly as they install reflective pavement markers on the roadway. The closures will be 'moving,' meaning that as the crews place the markers, they will travel down the roadway and the lane closures will follow them as they go. As motorists encounter the crews, they are advised to pay attention to state patrol officers who will be managing traffic and to drive with much caution.

The moving lane closures will take place from Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 through Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 during the overnight and morning hours of 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
