About the Film

USA, Comedy/Fantasy, 105 minutes, Not Rated, 2018, Directed by Casey Wilder Mott

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is one of Shakespeare’s most cherished creations, telling the story of lovesick youths and mischievous woodland spirits. Using Shakespeare’s original text, director Casey Wilder Mott transplants the classic love-crossed charmer to modern Hollywood where glamorous stars, powerful moguls, and starving artists alike fight to get ahead in a world where fantasy and reality collide. Mott’s production breathes new life into the classic tale, appealing to ardent fans and viewers just now discovering Shakespeare’s work.
