Friday, October 26th, 2018

The 78th Security Forces Squadron will host its 3rd Annual Pumpkin Patrol, an increased police presence throughout on-base housing, during trick-or-treating, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

Staff Sgt. Daniel McGinnis, Police Services noncommissioned officer in charge of 78th Security Forces Squadron, said Pumpkin Patrol serves a pivotal role in ensuring that everyone has a safe and fun Halloween night.

“Robins is an environment in which its people work hard and deserve the ability to have a safe, secure and sugar-filled night of fun,” he said.

Additionally, 78th SFS will host its 3rd Annual “Trunk-or-Treat” at the Museum of Aviation from 5:30‐7:30 p.m., Oct. 31.

McGinnis said a benefit of the trunk-or-treat event is that all candy is purchased and secured by 78th SFS until distribution.

The 78th Security Forces Squadron isn’t the only one treating the base community to tasty fun. The Robins’ base chapel will host its annual Hallelujah Night beginning at 5:30 p.m., including a Trunk-or-Treat, Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m.

Marcia Little, Protestant Program coordinator at Robins Base Chapel, said the event, set to take place on the chapel’s front lawn, is an event the chapel’s Protestant parish hosts as an outreach to the Robins’ community.

Trick-or-treating hours for the cities of Warner Robins, Perry, Centerville, Bonaire, Kathleen and unincorporated areas of Houston County, will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 31.
