Coliseum Medical Centers to Offer Free Seminar on Atrial Fibrillation

Coliseum Medical Centers will host a free seminar to discuss the causes and treatment of atrial fibrillation.  The seminar will feature Dr. Carmine Oddis on Thursday, September 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  The seminar will be held at Coliseum Medical Centers in Suite 120 of Building C located at 330 Hospital Drive in Macon.

Atrial fibrillation (also called AFib) is an irregular heartbeat that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications. Dr. Oddis will discuss all aspects of AFib, including prevention, causes, signs, treatment and rehabilitation. Guests will learn the appropriate steps to take if signs of AFib begin to show.
