Peyton Anderson Foundation Names Director of Finance

Gail Mansfield has been named the Director of Finance for the Peyton Anderson Foundation, the Macon-based philanthropic foundation that continues the vision of its late benefactor Peyton Anderson, Jr., to improve lives and meet the needs of the local community.

Mansfield previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for NewTown Macon, which is among the local non-profit organizations the Peyton Anderson Foundation established to benefit the community.

“The Peyton Anderson Foundation board of trustees and staff welcome Gail to the Foundation as its first Director of Finance,” said Peyton Anderson Foundation President Karen Lambert. “She provides the institutional knowledge, financial and operational acumen and forward-thinking experience to meet the growing, visionary goals of the Foundation.”

Mansfield is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as the treasurer for the Ocmulgee Land Trust.

Mansfield is also a member of the Career Women’s Network and the Macon Touchdown Club and graduate of Leadership Macon. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Mercer University.
