Wesleyan College welcomes Alexandra Stine to the newly created position of graduate and online recruitment specialist. In this new position, Stine will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing and recruitment strategies for Wesleyan’s Executive MBA and online programs.

Stine holds an M.A. in sport and fitness administration from the University of Houston as well as a B.S. in kinesiology and a minor in classics and ancient Mediterranean studies from the Pennsylvania State University where she was also a member of the varsity gymnastics team. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, Stine was special events and media manager for the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, Inc.

Wesleyan College is on track to offer women a chance to build their own bachelor’s degree in applied business through online courses (pending SACSCOC approval). The degree will combine core business classes with a specialization of the student’s choice. Specializations include strategic management, sport management, and organizational behavior. Credit will be considered for prior learning experiences and on-the-job training. The accelerated, eight-week sessions will remain true to Wesleyan’s commitment to interdisciplinary personalized learning, highly collaborative small class sizes, and close student-faculty mentor relationships. Moreover, the course of study will emphasize the values of a woman’s liberal arts education, such as writing and verbal communication skills, ethical decision making skills, and global thinking.

The College is also working to develop a new graduate program (pending SACSCOC approval): the master of arts in applied psychology with an industrial/organizational (I/O) emphasis. The program’s unique focus on justice prepares graduates to offer solutions to workplace issues.

Through Wesleyan’s Executive MBA Program, both men and women benefit from the individual attention of a dedicated faculty, located right here in Macon, and gain a global business perspective through visits to companies across the world. The program is tailored specifically for mid- and senior-level executives in established careers.
