Coliseum Cancer Institute to Release Butterflies in Honor of Cancer Survivors

In recognition of National Cancer Survivor Day, the Coliseum Cancer Institute at Coliseum Medical Centers will hold a butterfly release ceremony on Wednesday, June 6 at Noon.  Survivors, family members and friends are invited to this ceremony, which will include light refreshments and a live butterfly release.  National Cancer Survivor Day was Sunday, June 3 and events have been held throughout the country this week in honor of individuals who have fought cancer.  
 
The butterfly release will be held on the campus of Coliseum Medical Centers from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in Building C where the Cancer Center is located.  Cancer survivors, their friends, and family members are invited to attend.
