The Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center is set to sign an agreement on Wednesday that will offer dormitory facilities to active duty military personnel.

Together with the 78th Air Base Wing of Robins Air Force Base, the Center will sign a Memorandum of Understanding, which lays out plans to provide dormitory facilities for active duty military personnel enrolled in courses at the VECTR Center.

Under the terms of the MOU, eligible military personnel from any branch of the armed forces separating from service in Georgia will be allowed to reside in base dorms at Robins AFB while attempting coursework at the VECTR Center.

The agreement for the Center, which came under the operation of Central Georgia Technical College in 2017, will aide in furthering its mission of successful transition for veterans, active duty members, and their families into Georgia’s public colleges, universities and the state’s workforce.

The MOU signing will take place Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the VECTR Center at 11:00 a.m. The VECTR Center is located at 1001 S. Armed Forces Blvd., Warner Robins, Ga., 31088.
