Southern New Hampshire University - College of Online and Continuing Education and Georgia Military College, in the spirit of academic cooperation, signed an articulation agreement in order to facilitate the transfer of graduates of GMC to SNHU. At Georgia Military College, one of the core missions is to provide pathways for the successful transfer of its degree programs and coursework into a four-year institution. In alignment with this mission, this agreement with SNHU expands educational opportunities for GMC graduates wanting to pursue a bachelor-level degree. Southern New Hampshire University is proud to offer over 250 transfer-friendly degree programs and flexible degree pathways to community college students and alumni. This ability to obtain the degree completely online provides tremendous flexibility to GMC graduates wishing to pursue a four-year degree.

Through this agreement, SNHU College of Online and Continuing Education guarantees transferability of all credits outlined in the following Georgia Military College associate degrees to their corresponding SNHU-COCE bachelor's degrees: GMC AS Business Administration to SNHU BS Business Studies – Business Administration and GMC AS Criminal Justice to SNHU BS Criminal Justice. Further, General Education (core) courses from GMC will transfer to other degree programs at SNHU-COCE in a similar manner as outlined in the above transfer pathways.

“Community colleges share in our mission and values particularly around high-quality learning experiences that are student-centered. Like us, they focus on providing dynamic experiences that lead
to student success while also considering affordability, accessibility, and flexibility,” said Dr. Gregory W.
Fowler, Chief Academic Officer and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Southern New Hampshire
University-COCE. “This partnership allows those who otherwise might not have had opportunities to continue moving forward on a transformational journey that will impact not only their lives but those of
other families and their communities.”

This agreement formally recognizes that Southern New Hampshire University and Georgia Military
College are committed to the establishment of an educational partnership to better serve currently
enrolled and future students at both institutions, as well as, support economic development in the
communities served by these educational institutions.
