Volunteer Programs of Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital Accepting Applications

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Friday, April 13th, 2018

The volunteer programs of Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital are currently accepting applications for high school or college students interested in volunteering this summer and/or fall.  Hospital volunteers provide important services for patients and their families, and they contribute daily to the mission of Coliseum Health System.  Examples of volunteer work done in our hospital include, but are not limited to, escorting patients to hospital appointments, assisting staff with administrative duties, serving patients and families in waiting rooms, working in the gift shop, and helping staff with patient registration.

Applications can be found on the hospital’s website, www.coliseumhealthsystem.com under the “About us” section. Junior volunteers must agree to volunteer for a minimum of 13 weeks and/or 40 hours. Applicants must agree to a background check and must have a completed physical prior to hospital orientation.

For more information on volunteering at Coliseum Health System, visit the volunteer section of the website or call Lindsey Mote, volunteer coordinator, at (478) 471-6868.
