The Georgia Chamber of Commerce announced that it has picked Kerry Kerr as the organization’s Vice President of Communications and Media Relations.  In this new role, she will oversee the Chamber’s communications and media relations team and partner closely with new member initiatives. She will manage a growing narrative for the Chamber and its members.

Kerr joins the Georgia Chamber most recently from The Coca-Cola Company, where she served in executive roles for more than 16 years across diverse international markets.  In her leadership roles, she led media relations, issues and crisis communications, business and brand development and investor relations. Her background provides a platform to uplift and promote brands. And, in turn, continue to grow and positively impact the lives of the communities in which the companies she supports operate.
“The great state of Georgia is my home and the Chamber is an integral part of recruiting new talent within our communities,” said Kerr. “I look forward to helping the Chamber and our members continue to grow and retain business in the state."

“Kerry will bring to the Chamber family a knowledge of the state and our core businesses here,” said Georgia Chamber president and CEO Chris Clark. “Her experience is grounded in being a Georgia native, beginning her career at a local Chamber in North Georgia, and working for one of our state’s leading companies. We will increase the story of the burgeoning new industries, and that of those in the rural Georgia developing a marketplace for unique and creative goods.”
