Mercer University’s Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics is featured prominently in CEO Magazine’s annual ranking of Master of Business Administration, Executive MBA and Online MBA programs.

Mercer’s overall MBA program is included among 71 colleges and universities in the top tier of North American institutions. In the magazine’s global rankings, the University’s Online MBA program comes in at No. 24, and its Professional MBA for Innovation is No. 45 in the EMBA category.

“I am particularly pleased with these evidence-based rankings by CEO Magazine that affirm the quality of our programs, our faculty and our students,” said Dr. Susan P. Gilbert, dean of the Stetson School of Business and Economics. “Mercer University will continue its ascension among global business schools by delivering career-focused business education and developing innovative, socially responsible global leaders.”

CEO Magazine launched in 2008 to showcase the top business schools from around the world. In 2012, the magazine released its inaugural Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, EMBA and Online MBA programs. For this year’s edition, the magazine’s staff reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, and received responses from more than 270 programs.

Using a ranking system entirely geared and weighted towards fact-based criteria, CEO Magazine aims to provide potential students with a performance benchmark for those schools under review. Criteria include quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty-to-student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.
