Perry Chamber Hosts 2018 Annual Meeting

The Perry Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Meeting at the Board of Education Annex on Thursday, February 8th, with a crowd of over 160 in attendance.  Chair Dale Williams presided during the event recapping the 2017 program of work and accomplishments for the organization.  

The following awards were given out for 2017:

Seabie Hickson Award - Meg Mehserle for the Plein Air Event

James Worrall Volunteer of the Year  - Wendy Johnson of Country Financial

Diplomat of the Year - Stephanie Hill, State Bank & Trust Company

Business of the Year - Walker, Hulbert, Gray & Moore

Business Woman of the Year - Michelle Rhoades, Mossy Creek Soap and Mossy Creek Natural

Business Man of the Year - Rodney Smith - Parrish Construction Group

Golden Nail Awards - Firehouse Subs, Dentistry at Houston Lake, Walmart in Perry, and Houston Lake Country Club.

The installation of the 2018 Chairman, Dan Perdue of Perdue Blackberry Farms, followed the awards.

The 2018 Board of Directors include: Vice-Chair Dey Palmer of The Bank of Perry, Treasurer Dave Forrester of Suez, Legal Counsel Rob Tuggle of Daniel, Lawson, Tuggle, & Jerles, Paul Boyer of Pet Plantation, Felicia Kindler of CB&T Bank, Rodney Smith of Parrish Construction, Andy Crook of Walker-Rhodes Tractor Company, Jeff Leonard of ComSouth, Mike Moore of Moore Insurance Agency, Scott Cox of Georgia Power, Ashley Croley of Ashley Croley State Farm, and Tim Lowrimore of Interfor.
