JMA Architecture’s Meg Mehserle and team were recently named the 2018 recipient of the Seabie Hickson Award. Presented annually by the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce, the award recognizes a Perry citizen or group for their exceptional community contribution.  Meg was recognized with this award for coordinating the 2017 Perry Plein Air Paint Out & Art Sale, which seeks to bring together an emphasis of the natural beauty of Middle Georgia and the spirit of hospitality of the locals.
 
The Perry Plein Air Invitational Paint Out & Art Sale invites amateur to professional artists from around the state to paint "en plein air" which means outdoors and on location! This year’s event took place from September 7-9th, and culminated with an Art Sale at JMA Architecture.
