Coliseum Heart Institute at Coliseum Medical Centers encourages middle Georgians to learn more about their heart health at one of these upcoming events in honor of Heart Month.
 
On Thursday, February 8, the Coliseum Heart Institute will hold a seminar called Live a Heart Healthy Life!  This seminar will identify steps that can be taken right now to improve heart health.  Attendees will learn the importance of eating heart healthy foods and how they affect physical well-being.  All participants will receive a perfect portion dinner plate!  This seminar starts at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at Coliseum Medical Centers in Building C, Suite 120.
 
Coliseum Heart Institute will also offer a free heart screening on Saturday, February 10 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Building C of Coliseum Medical Centers.  Free screenings will include a full lipid panel, glucose and blood pressure screenings, BMI, and hip to waist ratio.
