Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia is pleased to announce the upgrade of its career services offered to residents of the Warner Robins area with the upcoming opening of a new Career Center and donation drive-through as part of a strategic transition that will serve retail customers from other nearby locations.

A ribbon cutting will be held this Friday, December 8th at 11:00am at the new location, 306 Russell Parkway in Warner Robins.

The former Job Connection and donation drive-through in leased facilities at 2209 Moody Road moved in mid- November to newly renovated and remodeled facility Goodwill purchased nearby at 306 Russell Parkway. The new site will provide greater opportunities for career advancement services to Middle Georgia residents and initially will be open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. The adjacent Goodwill donation drive-through will be open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from noon until 6 p.m.

Goodwill's other three Warner Robins-area retail training stores, including the retail store and Last Chance! outlet store at 2823 Watson Blvd., and the Lake Joy store at 1111 Hwy. 96 in Kathleen, will continue to provide upscale resale shopping experiences for Goodwill's customers after the closure of the Moody Road retail store. All employees are being transferred to other Goodwill retail stores.

"As Goodwill continues to focus on providing more professional career services to an increasing number of individuals seeking employment and career advancement opportunities, we're honored to be able to upgrade to newer, more accessible facilities for the greater Warner Robins community," said James K. Stiff, President of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia. "We're also adapting to the changing retail landscape, and Goodwill's three nearby stores, now stocked with even more merchandise, will continue to provide exemplary service and therapeutic shopping opportunities that support Goodwill's life-changing mission."
