Capital City Bank announces Dr. Chris Hendry has been selected to serve on its Bibb County Community Board of Directors.

Dr. Hendry was recently named Navicent Health executive vice president/chief operating officer for Clinical Operations. Dr. Hendry previously held the position of chief medical officer. He was voted best OB/GYN in middle Georgia in 2009 and has received several local and national teaching awards from his residents and students.

Dr. Hendry earned his bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University. He later went on to earn a medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Hendry completed his residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia. He is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Most recently, he received his MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Dr. Hendry enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies and spending time with his wife, son and daughter.
