Approximately 175 acres of land including a scenic 25-acre lake in Lizella, Georgia, will sell at auction Thursday, November 9, with John Dixon & Associates conducting the auction.

The land will be sold as part of a major bank auction of approximately 60 properties in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

"This land in Bibb County is adjacent to the Tobee Creek subdivision and is well positioned for a developer to turn into high-value lake lots," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.

The auction will also include 13.96 acres of land on Osigian Boulevard in Warner Robins, as well as 14 residential lots in the Whitney Ranch subdivision in Warner Robins.

"This area is very convenient to nearby shopping and restaurants and is only 25 minutes from Robins Air Force Base, making it a great location for homes serving those working at the base," said Dixon.

Also selling will be 191 acres of unimproved land on Manning Lake Road in Rome.

"We have a number of other attractive properties in this auction, such as a medical office condominium, some homes, a commercial office, land, waterfront homesites and other properties that can be used for income-producing investments or resold. All of these properties are bank-owned, and many will be selling without reserve," he said.

Also selling will be a luxury lake home, condominium and other properties around Alabama's Smith Lake, as well as a medical office building in nearby Walker County.

The auction will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 9, with live bidders gathering at the Doubletree by Hilton, 4386 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta. The auction be simulcast, with real-time remote bidding available by prior arrangement.
