Wade McCord, Macon-Bibb County Tax Commissioner, announced that his office has launched an innovative new website to help the taxpayers of Macon-Bibb County and those who do business in Macon-Bibb County.  The new website provides taxpayers with a very enhanced search engine to access important tax information, and is smartphone and tablet device friendly. It is now available at https://www.maconbibbtax.us.   
 
“Our new online tax web site allows our taxpayers to search, view, and pay their property tax information from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet without pinching, pulling, or scrolling their screen” says Wade McCord. Taxpayers can pay online using any one of the four major credit cards, a PayPal account, PayPal Credit, or by echeck.  
 
In addition to online tax information, taxpayers can use the website to see current wait times and find out how to pay taxes over the phone. The new website has links to assist with tag information and renewals, as well as a link to QPublic which provides property information.
