The Cosmetology program at Central Georgia Technical College will host a Fall Fundraiser on the College’s Milledgeville campus Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the H-Building. All Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia War Veteran’s Home in Milledgeville.

Fundraising for local charities occurs annually for the Cosmetology program. Last year’s super-hero themed fundraiser benefitting pediatric cancer helped the program reach over $20,000 in the six years it has raised funds. During September and October, the program will host additional activities throughout the colleges’ three main campuses in support of the veterans’ home.

The fundraiser will include a yard sale, bake sale, car wash and hot dog sale and promises to be fun for the whole family with games and music.

The community can donate gently worn clothing and shoes for the yard sale which can be dropped off prior to the event in E-Building Room 112 of the Milledgeville campus. Cash donations are also accepted.
