GDOL and Oconee Tech to Co-sponsor Career Expo and Job Fair in Dublin July 18th

The Georgia Department of Labor and Oconee Fall Line Technical College will co-sponsor a career expo and job fair on Tuesday, July 18, in Dublin.  The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the college’s Porter Training Center located at 560 Pine Hill Road.

Employers will be hiring workers and discussing current or future career opportunities. GDOL staff will be on site to assist the applicants, while the college will have personnel available to assist with career-related information, college registration and financial aid. Also, the college will waive its $25 admissions application fee for fall 2017 on the day of the event.

About 50 employers are expected to participate. Those who have already registered include: Aaron’s, Inc., Arconic, B-H Transfer Co., BASF Group, Beasley Forest Products, Chick-Fil-A, City of Dublin, Coca Cola United, Dublin VA Medical Center, Dublinair Health Care and Rehab Center, Evan’s Cabinet Corporation, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Farmers Home Furniture, Fred’s Distribution Center, Fulgham Industries Inc., Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Georgia Federal and State Inspection Service and the Georgia State Patrol.
