Angela Clayton Joins United Way of Central Georgia as Resource Development Director

The United Way of Central Georgia has hired Angela Clayton as its newest Resource Development Director.  

In this role, Clayton will raise funds needed to fulfill UWCG’s mission and build long lasting relationships throughout Central Georgia. She will plan and execute fundraising activities and manage donor portfolios.

“With Angela’s experience, we are certain she will assist our company to successfully execute the change we are trying to create. We are excited to have Angela join our team.” said Lisa Berrian, vice president of Resource Development and Marketing.

Clayton is a Business Administration Graduate of Macon State College (now part of Middle Georgia State University) and is furthering her education in Human Resources Management. Clayton has gained extensive work experience as a Senior Loan Officer for Wells Fargo Bank; Territory Account Manager for American Red Cross and Admissions Recruiter for Virginia College.

“I am beyond excited to return to the non-profit Industry to follow my passion of giving back to the community and improving the quality of life for Central Georgians,” Clayton said.

In her free time, Clayton enjoys reading, volunteering and quick getaway trips to the beach.
