The American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living recently announced PruittHealth – Augusta, PruittHealth – North Augusta, and PruittHealth – Union Pointe amongst the 520 long-term and post-acute care organizations that earned a 2017 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award. "Bronze award recipients advance our mission of improving lives by delivering solutions for quality care," said Mark Parkinson, President and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. "We applaud their efforts to enrich the lives of those in the long-term and post-acute care communities we serve."

"I am proud to add PruittHealth – Augusta, PruittHealth – North Augusta, and PruittHealth – Union Pointe to the list of centers that have received the Bronze level National Quality Award from AHCA/NCAL. It is an honor to have their continuous commitment and quality recognized nationally," said Neil L. Pruitt, Jr., Chairman and CEO of PruittHealth.

Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is centered on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. The Baldrige program helps organizations in different business sectors improve and achieve performance excellence.
