Sen. Larry Walker (R – Perry) recently announced that a One Georgia Authority grant, in the amount of $100,000, has been awarded to the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame in Warner Robins.

“I am thrilled that the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame is receiving this grant, and I am proud to have been involved with securing it,” said Sen. Walker. “Georgia, particularly Middle Georgia, has a proud history of excellence in aviation due, in no small part, to the presence of Robins Air Force Base. The Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame stands as a reminder of all the wonderful contributions Georgians have made to aviation and the positive impact the aviation industry has had on our state. This grant will enable us to better share Georgia’s aviation story with the public and to preserve our aviation history for generations to come. I want to thank Governor Deal for his generous support of this important mission.”
