CGTC to Host Information Sessions to Help Putnam Co. Business Leaders Connect with Community June 21st

Central Georgia Technical College’s Office of Economic Development, along with the Putnam Development Authority, and the Middle Georgia Consortium, Inc., will host free information sessions for Putnam County business leaders on Wednesday, June 21 at the CGTC Putnam County Center, located at 580 James Marshall Bypass in Eatonton.
 
The purpose of the sessions is to make local business leaders aware of modern marketing strategies and the ways in which those strategies can lead to business growth.
 
Beginning at 12 p.m., the Middle Georgia Consortium Inc. will discuss the various services they provide to job seekers and employers, and tips on how to gain employment through On-The-Job training.  The other hour-long information sessions will include topics such as: Using social media for business (1 p.m.), Tips and Tricks of Microsoft Excel (2 p.m.), Improving your presentation skills (3 p.m.), and Utilizing Facebook as a business marketing tool (4:00 p.m.).
 
Participants are encouraged to attend any or all of the sessions. Lunch will be provided.
