The Ford Plantation Club, a premier private sporting and residential community located on the Ogeechee River just outside historic Savannah, GA., is pleased to announce their new National Membership program to a select number of non-property owners.

Historically known for their generation memberships, where the original member(s) along with their parents, children and grandchildren are all members, The Ford Plantation has maintained an exclusive membership where only property owners can become resident members, and all property owners must be resident members.  This exclusivity creates a unity among members, who take pride in their shared commitment to the Ford lifestyle and stewardship of its award-winning property.

Named one of the “Top Seven Safe Havens,” in the country by Town & Country magazine, The Ford Plantation features a relaxed Southern sanctuary from the commotion of the outside world. Settled amidst acres of protected wetlands, wildlife and the serenity of the graceful Live Oaks known in that part of the country.

The 1,800-acre pristine community boasts Pete Dye Golf, a 22-stall equestrian center, a deep water access marina, fishing, family-friendly pursuits, a spa, fitness center and award-winning culinary traditions that satisfy the most discerning foodie.

“At The Ford Plantation, we recognize the exclusivity and desire to be a member. And after much thought, we are opening up the membership on a National Level for a limited number, to allow for those who want to benefit from the membership offerings without having to purchase property,” stated Marc Ray, General Manager at The Ford Plantation. “The National Memberships are only available for a select number of people who are not property owners; and include exclusive access to all Club services: Golf, Outdoor Pursuits, Equestrian, Fitness Center, Shooting, Tennis, Day Spa, Dining and a wide array of social events.”

The initiation fee for the National Membership program is $20,000.00 with dues of $7,500 annually. The fee is convertible towards Residential Membership on any property purchased inside five years of Membership activation.
