Coliseum Health System Welcomes New Board Members

Coliseum Health System is proud to announce the names of two oncoming members of the Board of Trustees.  This board serves to promote hospital-based healthcare that meets the needs of the community and help establish the long-term direction of Coliseum Health System.

Raymond O. (Rob) Ballard, Jr. is an entrepreneur with more than 27 years in the real estate industry.  He has developed and built many neighborhoods and homes across the Middle Georgia region.  Throughout his career, Mr. Ballard has received recognition for his high level of achievement and leadership.  He is a native Maconite, having left only to pursue his studies at Georgia Southern University, where he received a Bachelor of Technology and Science degree in the field of Building Construction. He and his wife Penny have three adult children.  Rob is a passionate outdoorsmen and supporter of various groups including his local church and Young Life of Macon.

George Arimah, MD, attended both the University of Massachusetts and Boston University in Boston for his undergraduate education.  He received his medical training at Universidad Autonoma in Guadalajara and New York Medical College. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts.  He has been practicing medicine in Macon for over 20 years.

Other members of the Coliseum Health System Board of Trustees include CEO Stephen J. Daugherty, Dr. Cesar Figueroa, Grant Greenwood, Dr. Daniel Haithcock, Dr. Wayne Kelley, Debby MacMillan, Dr. Wood Pope, Hugh Tappan, and Susan Welsh.
