Central Georgia Technical College’s Putnam County Center recently hosted its 3rd Annual Job*Fest, a Putnam community job fair, committed to connecting job seekers to local employers.

“Our staff hopes that employers had the opportunity to meet qualified prospective employees and that job seekers were able to meet with representatives from diverse job markets,” said Carrie Dietrich, the director of the Putnam County Center. “Hosting this job fair is a further example of CGTC’s commitment to stimulating economic growth in Putnam County through workforce development.”

Twenty-four employers were on hand to meet with approximately 100 job seekers in attendance.

In addition to partnering with the community in employment, the CGTC Putnam County Center serves the community by offering college credit, adult education, and continuing education classes, as well as business and industry customized training.
