Gov. Nathan Deal announced the appointment of the Honorable David L. Mincey III as Superior Court Judge of the Macon Judicial Circuit. Mincey will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Tilman E. “Tripp” Self III to the Georgia Court of Appeals. The appointment will take effect upon swearing in.

Mincey is the owner of Mincey & Mincey, LLC. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Mincey and his wife, Tracie, have four children and reside in Macon.
