Middle Georgia State University Hosts “The Ability Exhibit”

In observance of Disability Awareness Month, Middle Georgia State University's School of Education is hosting "The Ability Exhibit," a series of events promoting inclusion, from October 3-5.
 
These events are free and open to the public. Here is the schedule:
 
Monday, October 3
 
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.: Short film screening of the HBO documentary "I Can't Do This But I Can Do That," followed by discussion - Cochran Campus, Walker Hall, room 302.
 
2:00 - 3:00 p.m.: Short film screening of the HBO documentary "I Can't Do This But I Can Do That," followed by discussion, Dublin Campus, room 217.
 
Tuesday, October 4
 
4:30 - 7:30 p.m.: Vendor Exhibit, Macon Campus, The Education Building, 2nd Floor Atrium,   Providing information and resources available for people with disabilities. Participating vendors include Georgia Academy for the Blind, Developing Minds, Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, River Edge Behavioral Health Center, Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
 
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.: Community Awareness Panel examining stereotypes and misconceptions about people with disabilities, Macon Campus, The Education Building, room 389.
 
Wednesday, October 5
 
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.: Short film screening of the HBO documentary "I Can't Do This But I Can Do That," followed by discussion, Warner Robins Campus, Thomas Hall, room 110.
