Heath Fountain Installed as Board Member of the Georgia Bankers Association

T. Heath Fountain, president and CEO of Planters First Bank, Cordele, has been elected by his peers in middle and south Georgia to serve on the board of directors of the Georgia Bankers Association.
 
"I was delighted when Heath’s colleagues in this region elected him as their representative to the board. He is a strong banker who will provide valuable leadership to the GBA as one of its directors,” said Rick Drews, GBA chairman and CEO of Century Bank of Georgia in Cartersville.
 
Before joining PFB, Fountain was executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of HeritageBank of the South and Heritage Financial Group.
 
Fountain is a graduate of the Deerfield-Windsor School and the J.M. Tull School of Accounting in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Fountain is a Certified Public Accountant and is active in many industry associations.
 
Fountain serves as the president of Doublegate Country Club. He has previously served on the Endowment Committee of First United Methodist Church and the board of directors of the Anchorage. He is a past president of Generation Success and of the Deerfield-Windsor School Alumni Association. Fountain is also a graduate of Leadership Albany.
