Navicent Health Partners with Museum of Arts and Sciences to Offer First Saturday

The Navicent Health Foundation will continue its collaboration with the Museum of Arts and Sciences through 2016 to bring central Georgians First Saturday, a day of scavenger hunts, nature walks and hands-on activities. Thanks to the Navicent Health Foundation’s generous support, admission to the museum will be free to the public on the first Saturday of each month.
 
Those attending First Saturday will have access to all museum exhibits at no charge. In addition, Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health will present various topics to address the health and wellness of children in the community. The following First Saturday events are scheduled at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, 4182 Forsyth Road in Macon:
 
·         November 7 – Infant Prematurity Awareness
·         December 5 – Healthy Me, Healthy Living for Kids
·         February 6 – Child Passenger Car Seat Safety
·         March 5 – Kids’ Teddy Bear Clinic for sick and injured teddy bears
·         April 2 – Pediatric Autism Awareness
·         May 7 – Pediatric Asthma Awareness
·         June 4 – Pediatric Immunizations
